While I haven't had much time to blog or work on updating my website this summer, I have made some steady progress in my studio. I've finished up a variety of commissions, including this portrait of Groupie Doll, the two-time winner of the Breeders Cup Fillies and Mares Sprint. Hilary R. commissioned her and requested that I depict her with her
tongue hanging out like the real mare often ran. I had never sculpted a tongue before, so this was a fun challenge. I'm really pleased with how she turned out.
